Here’s what the new Northeastern University computer science degree will look like
Here’s a primer on the new degree.
It is designed for people who are interested in computer science and wants to be able to think about things that are computationally computationally powerful and that involve problem solving.
You’ll study computer science theory, algorithms, data structures, databases, algorithms and algorithms for data management, data analytics, data visualization, computer vision and computer science.
Northeastern said it’s designed to prepare students to enter a variety of roles, including those in the IT and information technology industries, or in the health care and biomedical industries.
This degree is also designed to help students be better prepared for careers in the financial services, education, health care, health technology, technology and information professions.
Northeast said it is offering a minimum of 60 credits.
You will earn a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a minimum requirement of 60 credit hours.
You may also earn an associate degree.
The degree is open to anyone who meets the following requirements: You are at least 18 years old and have completed a minimum four-year program of college or university in computer and information science.
You have at least one semester of college credits or equivalent completed, and you have completed at least two semesters of postsecondary study at a college or higher level.
You can earn your bachelor’s degrees from a public university.
